Anton in Show Business

Feb 15th through Mar 9th

By Jane Martin

Directed by Caroline Beadle

Holly has shaped her entire life to make the jump from TV star to real film and now she is on the precipice of fulfilling her life’s dream.  She only faces one final test: performing in Chekhov’s Three Sisters in Austin, TX.  Anton in Show Business is a madcap, comedic exploration of what it takes to make it in show biz.  Martin spurs us to look at the dangers of following our wildest dreams. As we tell this story, you’ll feel the heartbreak, agony, camaraderie, and love of three actors putting on a play.

“Anton in Show Business” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.

About the Director: Caroline Beadle

Caroline Costa Beadle is a graduate of the University of Illinois where she received a BFA in Theatre and of Goucher College where she received her MA in Arts Administration. By day, she works at First Midwest Bank as the Closing Administrator in the mortgage department. She is the Artistic Producer and Development Director here at Three Brothers Theatre. She has been associated with Three Brothers Theatre since 2011, where she has produced, directed, acted in, costumed, and worn an array of different hats as a “brother” at the theatre.  This year she is directing Anton in Show Business, which kicks off the 7th season.  She loves that she gets to collaborate on a daily basis with her husband and Executive Director Josh Beadle and Technical Producer “Uncle” Rick Adams (the other two brothers).
