Dan and Jan are married, and they aren’t happy. They fight every day, they know their respective habits, and manipulation is only half of the fun. In the midst of an especially aggravated talk one morning, Jan finds the unthinkable: an infant child in the kitchen cereal cabinet. Somebody’s child has entered their home. But whose? And why? As their happiness together seems to have faded, this couple will need to confront their own hard truths in order to move forward with any potential peace in the face of a terrifying situation.

Ben is a graduate of Carthage College class of 2019, where he holds a B.A. in Acting. After working in Milwaukee for ten years, he’s excited to be making his break into Chicago’s vibrant theater community with Three Brothers, where he has both performed and worked as a playwright. He’s pleased to be presenting his play “Somebody’s Child” in October of 2019 and to continue working with all of the wonderful, talented, and supportive people he’s befriended over the years.
Joshua Bryan Maloney is currently a student at Carthage College studying Theatre and Directing. Joshua has been seen on stage in AJAX (Odysseus), MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN (Eilif), and A HISTORY OF FALLING THINGS (Jimmy). His notable directing credits include GROWN-ASS LOUIS by Bruce Walsh and THE SECRET IN THE WINGS by Mary Zimmerman. Joshua believes that the incredible power of theatre comes from the stories we tell; how audiences might see themselves and their own experiences in the narratives we express on the stage.
